Who we are
AmbitioStudio BV is a design studio registered in the Netherlands (KvK 78214590) with offices at Keizersgracht 241, 1016 EA Amsterdam and Rua da Boavista 84, 1200-068 Lisbon. For any question about this policy, write to privacy@ambitio.studio.
What we collect
Enquiry forms: the name, work email, company, budget range, timeline and message you submit. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the engagement.
Newsletter: the email address you provide, plus whether you opened a given issue. Nothing else.
Analytics: aggregated, cookie-free page view data collected by Framer Analytics. It does not identify individuals and we cannot use it to single you out.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising pixels, third-party trackers, or cross-site retargeting on this website. We do not enrich your submitted email with data bought from third parties.
Legal basis
For enquiry and client data, our legal basis is the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one. For the newsletter, it is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every issue. For aggregated analytics, it is our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after twelve months. Client project records are kept for seven years, which is the retention period required by Dutch tax law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it
Our email is hosted by Fastmail (Australia, with EU data residency), this website by Framer (Netherlands), and our newsletter is sent through Buttondown (United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses). Each acts as a processor on our instructions and none uses your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@ambitio.studio and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the CNPD in Portugal.
Cookies
This website sets no marketing or analytics cookies. The only storage used is a functional preference for light or dark appearance, held in your browser and never transmitted to us.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will note the change here and update the date at the top of the page. Previous versions are available on request.
